Dr. Christopher Douglas

Education: University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Douglas is from Ireland and grew up just outside a small town called Drogheda. Growing up he was always surrounded by lots of pets, ranging in size from hamsters all the way up to horses, and even some ducks and hens, but mostly cats and dogs.

He graduated from University College Dublin in 2014. After graduation he worked for a short period with the Irish Blue Cross, a charity that provides veterinary care to low income families. Then he decided to embark on an adventure and live in a foreign country. He didn’t quite know where in the world he would end up but by sheer chance he happened across Dr. Dhillon who took him under his wing, so he came here to Vancouver!

Dr. Douglas particularly enjoys working with cats and likes the idea of someday specialising in them. In his spare time he enjoys amateur coding, reading, music, playing piano and skiing. He thinks that he is incredibly lucky to have ended up in a practice with great staff that share knowledge and help each other provide outstanding veterinary care!
